I had them replace the unit with a new one which has the 4.7.1.40 OS and but does not have the trackball issues, it works as it should. I do prefer the Curve's keyboard though with the spacing. Something I think we will see on the new VZW Curve (with rumors of a late November release date). So, if you can wait until the end of November: wait. If the Curve 2 does come out you should have a better keyboard and WiFi. If not, the Tour is a good unit if you get one that has a working trackball. JHP2,

My trackball has gotten to the point that it's very unresponsive. Almost like it's very oily. I clean my hands constantly in an attempt to make sure it doesn't.
