The latest beta of Opera Mini, version 4.2 has just been released. The BlackBerry Browser is getting better, however, if you don’t have a BlackBerry Bold or newer and do serious web browsing on your device, you will want to check this out.

I hope it has “in situ” text entry – that was the one bad thing about the previous version of Opera Mini – taking you to a separate screen to enter text and automtically capitalizing the first letter.
I just finished testing it out on my Bold and I have noticed a dramatic (yet positive) change in performance. The previous Opera version lagged and was very slow when I ran it on my Bold. But this one is a definite keeper.
