I agree. At a minimum they could incorporate some of the WebOS features into future iterations of the Blackberry OS.

i really dont understand why iPhoneRulz even go to this site? It’s apparent, that he have a dislike for blackberry and fanatic for apple’s products. is he that bored with his iphone that he goes onto other platforms websites and make comments to promote how much he love the iphone? or is it because he just want to get on Robb’s nerves….haha.

Three-and-a-half reasons prevent me from going along with you on your crazy iPhone ride.

1. AT&T.
2. Battery.
3. Multi-tasking (although 4.0 will take care of that…)
1/2. Email. BB’s rule this area. I’m spoiled.

As for your comment regarding RIM purchasing Palm being ridiculous, I think you’re ridiculous in making that comment. Was it ridiculous when MS threw some money into Apple back in the day when Apple was down and out? MS Office on a MAC? Peanut butter and Jelly?

Comon’. Give it a break. We get it. You like your iPhone. It “Rulz!” But Robb has a good point here. If you disagree with his point of view, then state so with reasons as opposed to calling him out with lazy rhetoric.

I’ve been preaching it and will continue to do so…RIM + webOS = sweet. IMO, webOS is the best OS out there for phones. Add in the BB communication hub of email and messenger and that’s a recipe for success. RIM should focus on making the purchase, integrate the companies ASAP and concentrate on the HW design. If RIM put out a device that offered webOS, BB Mail and Messenger, on a device that had the form factor/build of the Devour, I’d be on it and wouldn’t talk about N1′s, etc.

Now, will that happen? I don’t think so. RIM strikes me as a company that’s very arrogant and blinded with their own success. Countdown is nearing for my N1 VZW purchase.
