Nokia not interested in Research in Motion

Despite rumors from the financial community, Nokia, the worlds largest mobile phone manufacturer, is not interested in buying Research in Motion.  Mary McDowell, head of Nokia’s Enterprise Solutions business unit stated that to the Finnish news paper, Helsingin Sanomat, “Such an acquisition doesn’t make sense.”  “Most of their (RIM’s) income comes from devices for which we can develop similar products ourselves.”
