Lotus Introduces Applications for BlackBerry

eWeek contributing columnist Wayne Rash has a story on PCmag.com where he talks to VPs from both IBM and Research in Motion about new Lotus Applications for BlackBerry. The new interoperability will allow companies that have developed applications for other Lotus platforms with Notes and Domino to run those applications on BlackBerry devices.

This is an important move for both Research in Motion and IBM because there are over 125 million Lotus Notes users and most of their applications now run on the BlackBerry. Lotus customers should be able to run everything from inventory to CRM all from the BlackBerry.
