Jan. 26th T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 Launch Rumors Floating Around

January 9, 2009 by Robb Dunewood 4 Comments

Let me start of by saying that no official release date for the launch of the T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been officially announced however the generally agreed upon rumored date is Feb. 11th.

We heard the other day, however, that devices where already starting to show up in stores.  I said then that I had a hard time believing that T-Mobile stores would have inventory well over a month before devices actually went on sale.

Well, today rumors have started floating around that the BlackBerry Curve 8900 will luanch on Jan 26th and that T-Mobile could start taking pre-orders as early as today.  This is absolutely a rumor, but,  seeing how we know devices are in inventory in some T-Mobile stores, this is a rumor that I will follow closely.

There are stores that have it. I have friends that actually picked it up from Non Branded T Mobile Stores. T mobile is definitely shipping them to stores

    Robb,

Looking for a link but as of yet can’t find one, hoping RIMarkable can find and post them. I should have snapped a picture. Gold Star to RIM for the new? Ad campaign! I saw what I believe is a BB curve with a fantastic artistic painting with NYC landmarks over the entire BB Curve. Are these being done for other major city’s too? Again Gold Star to RIM for the ad campaign.

Our company is looking to get a jump on these phones. We’re hoping that the rumors are true.
