As background, I did install the patch via OTA way way back, but the OTA link I can't find anywhere anymore. Wouldnt' that be the preferred way to install the patch, and make sure I have the most up-to-date version? Back to my rant! Why IE? If you go to the Blackberry.com link to apply the DST link with FireFox you get the message you need IE 5.5 or higher? I didn't know that RIM was in bed with Microsoft, but I guess now I can give up any hope that Linux USB drivers for Blackberry devices will never been seen, and I JUST signed the online petition for that last week too!
