Its about time VZW stepped it up and is finally getting some cool phones......although I still feel they shouldn't have passed on the Iphone. But at least a Blackberry with cam/ video functions would do. Although we may carry one in the future, we currently don't have a roadmap in place for the device as we are marketing the 8830 BB. If I find out additional information in the future, I'll let you know... But it looks like no 8100 with VZW for 2007. " Jimbo,

Well, I acted a little stupid and the sales rep was telling me all this info on upcoming phones for Verizon to make sure I don't sign on with another carrier. She revealed to me that it is confirmed that Verizon will be getting the Blackberry Pearl within or around 3 months from now! I tried pressing her for more information and she realized that she said something she shouldn't have and then said she didn't know more info. So there you have it, the Pearl is coming to the Network in Q4 2007. So I stumbled into my Verizon store because I’m looking for a new phone.
