What's up with the name calling and cursing? No need to be upset, no one (but you) is posting to/at someone. The Rock knows taking lame shots is poor behavior.

Try to be more like the Rock aka The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment and relax, your BB data issues are no reason to make nasty posts to others or make deceptive bogus claims.

It's even worse than we thought. Disillusioned, self-deception is even more alive and well right here at rimarkable. Even more interesting is the thread is about the data outages of the BB network and somehow it's turned around to taking lame shots at other devices.

Yet still no official notification from RIM? Seems RIM is regressing back a few years when most subscribers affected by the outage learned of it through the news media. Where is Jim Balsillie making more claims like "The blackberry outage will never happen again"? Or his other recent gem "Buggy Smartphone Software Is The “New Reality”?

"E-mail sent to and from BlackBerry phones in North America all goes through a Network Operations Center. It appears the problem occurred there, (Feb 2008) when one of two Internet addresses that relay e-mail from corporate servers stopped responding, according to Zenprise, a Fremont, Calif., company that helps companies troubleshoot BlackBerry problems.

"Any time you got a system that's got a NOC, a Network Operations Center, you have the potential for a single point of failure," said Jack Gold, with technology analyst firm J.Gold Associates in Northborough, Mass.

"What's a bit surprising to me is that with all the work they've been doing over time ... that they haven't been able to have enough redundancy in the NOC so that there isn't a single point of failure," said Gold, who has done business with RIM."

@ The Rock

Are you kidding me? I know you're hellno, but are you really that much in love with your phone? I'm reporting what I'm dealing with (unlike your bias), and if the phone doesn't work, no matter what make or provider, it's a piece of useless plastic (you're personally upset I called the iPhone a piece of useless plastic? LOL...unreal). It shows that while RIM can go down, so can a provider, thus making a device useless on their service. What good is wireless if I'm not near a wireless connection? Pro's and con's to everything.

I think you received one too many hits to the head by your own elbow. Unreal...

Self-deception is still alive and well right here at rimarkable. One would think a claimed poweruser who claims his BB with verizon isn't having any problems wouldn't need to use his 3G iPhone to GIT-R-DONE. But instead adds yet more self-deception and name calling to the device he truly knows is much more reliable and advanced.

Well, data services are down where I'm at via AT&T. Too bad I'm not near WiFi to use this piece of plastic.
