Good sized touch screen with a keyboard that slid out in portrait mode. It was a bulky beast and the uneven weight distribution made it hard to type Blackberry-style for long, but it's still my all-time favorite basic design. I recently re-activated my Curve to refresh my memory on how the BB works, and I have to admit it has some real advantages over my Moto Droid. It lacks the fun factor, but typing and making phone calls is soooo much better on the Curve. I don't have to slide my finger across the screen to turn on the phone so I can make a phone call - what a novel idea! And none of us give a hooey about how it looks as we're BB diehards through and through and function is numero uno. I had an iPhone (now and iPod Touch) and I absolutely loved the device except for the fact that I couldn't text on the thing effectively, which is what I do most.
