Just gave up VZ 8830. was concerned about coverage, but so far thats ok. Biggest benefit is not dealing with the iron fist of verizon. I actually used the GPS on my phone, for free. I'm streaming radio from pandora, for free.I can see the keyboard being an issue for some (though the 8830 wasnt a dream itself) but personally, I'm to busy to type on any phone, I mainly just check my email for status updates, and to do lists when.

Got it, and love it. With an e-mail or contact or calendar change taking up to 30 minutes to sync across all devices, I don't think RIM has anything to worry about.

I have an iPod Touch and have been testing the new MobileMe features. I remember when I had a Palm III I sweared to myself that I will only buy a smartphone again, when the Input Problem is solved. The BlackBerry solved it for me, the iPhone didn't.So, no iPhone for me.

I really tried hard to become a friend of the iPhone but so far we never got big friends.

Sure, it has a lot of nice graphics but typing is still such a pain. AT&T subsidized the phone so they are picking up the discounted amount. To regain that cost, they took away 200 free texts and added $10 a month to the plan. Smart move on AT&T's part as it will help them gain new iPhone customers in the coming year and will boost their revenues in the future even with the cost of decreased revenues tday.

Amazed,

Apple didn’t give you a reduced price.
