Thanks for all the input. I decided to go with the Jawbone. As many people have indicated, the earpiece isn’t all that comfortable so I bought a pack of Jabra ear gels that fit on the Jawbone and in my ear perfectly.

The Jawbone is a pretty popular headset but sometimes is not the most comfortable. There are replacement Jabra Mini-gels that you can get from Gammoth for a descent deal … as far as headsets go …. I’ve had really good experience with the Motorola MotoPURE H12. Great comfort, good sound quality and reasonably priced. You can check out product reviews all over the place for the different headsets people are saying, try cnet.com for reviews or blog.gammoth.com and they have some good reviews too. Good luck!

I loved my Motorola headset until I accidentally ruined it.
I didn’t like the Jabra BT-125 much because it kept falling off, and now it’s lost. I think I will get another Motorola for the comfort.

I’ve tried the JX10 from Jabra, and it worked pretty well, but it was not comfortable and would tend to flap whenever you walked or moved your head. The connection port for the recharger was a real p.i.t.a. and started to fall apart because I had to force it in.

Has anyone tried the Jabra 8040? It looks small and lightweight, but I worry it might fall out of my ear, which was a problem with a similalry-designed Samsung I had awhile back. One other feature of the Blueant Z9 is that it has a built in clip that allows me to attach it to my shirt pocket or collar.

You may be on to something there…based on the web page for the headset, it does a little more than just connect to the phone…connects to ‘other’ devices as well it seems. See the picture at the top.

I’m rating the Jabra JX10 at the moment. Nice, very small, good battery and works well with the voice activated dialing on my BlackBerry. Top headset.

I’ve used the Apple iPhone headset for a bit with my 8310 and it works great. It’s the first headset that I can truly say I forget it’s there, it’s so light, small and unobtrusive.

flip open and it automatically connects to the handset
flip close and it automatically disconnects from the handset

very good standby of three days and talk time of 2 -2.5 hrs
