You must be kidding people! The Blackberry Curve is going for roughly 550$! AND a 8830 is going for 699$! DONT THINK ITS CHEAP! , some of you are guessing about 399, YAH RIGHT! The Blackberry Storm is going to be selling for around 700$. SO GET CHO MONEY OUT!

Okay, so i work at at&t (i still have verizon tho lol) and we are selling the blackberry bold.. obviously crapier than the storm, but its selling for $399 with $100 mail in rebate. So I imagine it the same.

No matter what the price is I am def. getting the storm. However I must vent for a second on the lack of preparation it seems Verizon has over the release of the storm. I have been calling every Verizon store around my house for the last 2 months now trying to get an idea as to when the storm will be released, and no one over there seems to know. Just frustrating when I have been looking forward to this for some time now.

Seriously, Verizon probably pays $375-400 to RIM and that would mean given a usual $200 subsidy, the $199 price seems about right. Maybe they price it at $150 to undercut iPhone – isn’t that their target with this device?

Look at Vodafone’s pricing. They are giving it away for free with certain contracts. Given how much voice and data plans on Verizon cost, this could mean they would give it away as well…but it is bloodsucking Verizon. I went into a store and asked about the Storm and they wanted a pound of flesh to reserve a device… Luckily there was this large woman who was happy to lend me some of hers…

With as much as we get charged for wireless charges we shouldn’t have to pay anything but I am guessing that it will be about the same as the iPhone.
