NOT sure how accurate the article belwo is . . . but it sounds interesting.

“BlackBerry Thunder 9500 seems to become the first touchscreen smartphone in RIM’s 9000 series. According to Wall Street Journal, the Canadian manufacturer will be offering the BlackBerry 9500 on Verizon Wireless and Vodafone networks, exclusively. Vodafone has a track record of getting BlackBerry smartphones exclusively in Europe, and an exclusive agreement will obviously also cause extra buzz for Verizon Wireless.

The BlackBerry Thunder 9500 is scheduled to hit store shelves in the third quarter of 2008, most likely in September. According to Wall Street Journal, the BlackBerry Thunder 9500 will ship with 3G support like the recently introduced BlackBerry Bold, but it’s not currently known whether HSDPA and EV-DO versions will be released simultaneously. RIM has also worked hard to improve the battery life of its 9000 series of smartphones, which is kind of reassuring.”

Yes opera works for the curve, you just have to configure something, i did it so long ago i forget what it is, ugh

You are correct, the trackball will not change colors like the pearl. What hte software does is changes the indicator light (i tried it out a while back) i didn’t use it, the real colors are more usefulness than the ‘cool’ solid color

VZ Navigator sucks, i had it for a week, never used it much, the screen is too small, but if you like it, more power to ya.

On a side note i just swapped someone’s VZW BB7750 out, look it up on google, the screen is HUGE, its pretty efn sweet, i have it chillen on my desktop for humor reasons. Doesnt even have the generic BB plugin, the old school plugin on the bottom, lmao. Sorry i amuse easily.

Jsut got my curve today. Was able to easily back up date from old blackberry to computer and transfer to curve…nothing was lost! Any cool apps for curve? As far as I know, you can’t change the color of the trackball for the curve, right?

I hope you mean how is vznavigator working, because that’s the only thing that the gps works with on the vzw curve. This was expected. But it works great! I love vznav… I wish they didn’t charge me monthly for it.
