Engadget Mobile has a sneak peak of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2 that will come out when the BlackBerry Pearl is released.
There is a media manager, as expected, to support the new multimedia features of the next-gen BlackBerry devices and there is a new Switch Device Wizard, which according to BlackBerry insider, Boy Genius, is a godsend. It would appear that not only does the Switch Device Wizard allow you to easily change between BlackBerry devices, but, from Palm Treos and Windows Mobile devices as well.
The Switch Device Wizard will be a welcome addition no matter if you are moving to a BlackBerry Pearl or not…
