Still wasn't locating GPS. I don't know if this helped but I started BBMaps, and made sure the GPS worked, then went back to Gmaps, and it was working. Would be nice to have a option in the menu to override the GPS on/off from within Gmaps app, but free is always NICE so I won't complain. Thanks did the batt pull. Still wasn’t locating GPS. If so, you need to do a batt pull. When you do, you'll see a blue icon in the lower right corner. This will tell you weather or not GPS is available or not. Hope this helps.
