I updated BIS from version 1 to version 2, changed BB devices, deleted and readded the account from BIS, turned off the POP3 on the gmail account and reneabled it. With all this my other two gmail accounts worked and continue to work fine, but this one never updated again. Now with the gmail for mobile applkication, I can finally have access to that third gmail account again. I know this isn't the best justification for using gmail for mobile but I'm whole again after a year hiatus.

Werl, For me gmail for mobile is very useful because I track multiple gmail accounts on my BB with BIS and a year ago one of the accounts just stopped syncing to my BB. I am willing to bet that there are quite a few Gmail users who use ther pop client to send and receive mail and have their contacts stored in their email client.

I would like it if you could send email from your BlackBerry Address book as well as your Gmail address book.
