My office Verizon sales rep indicated that the Curve may not arrive until late May. I hope she's wrong...I've been really anticipating this phone since their announcement just before CTIA.

A couple weeks ago I got the (red) 8310 new from Amazon.com for -$50 ($25 net cost and $75 rebate) from Amazon.com by re-upping my expired contract with AT&T for another 2 years. I think the current deal is -$25.

Wow...seems to me that they are making aggressive moves in the anticipation of the Curve's release on VZW. Interesting. I hear that Sprint is offering 5 shares of stock along with the purchase of a Curve instead of the $50 rebate, but anyone who can do the math knows to take the rebate. :)

Where do you see existing customers eligible for the deal by extending their contract? I've poked around and can only see stuff for new lines of service or number ports. Am I missing something?
