EQO Communications today announced support for Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices, enabling those users to access VoIP calling and IM services(including AIM, ICQ, GoogleTalk, Jabber, MSN, Yahoo! and Skype) on their smart-phone.
From what I can tell so far, if you want to use the VoIP capabilities of EQO you must install the EQO Mobile client on your BlackBerry in addition to running the EQO for Skype client on your computer. I am downloading EQO to my BlackBerry as I write this post and will put up a review once a get a chance to play with it.

Looks like a pretty extensive lists of blackberries there except my VZ 8703E:(
Bruce, I would be willing to bet that EQO will work on your BlackBerry 8703e. You just may have a different 870X model device to get through to the download page.
Have you ever took a look to that VoIP solution?
