We just got word that YouMail Visual VoiceMail for BlackBerry has been updated to version 2.1.0.1 and includes the following new features:
- Better speed and reliability, with new status indicators that tell the user the precise status of their connectivity and data transmission.
- Improvements to YouMail’s already one-of-a-kind voice-to-text service designed to save users time and better inform them of data transcription status. YouMail is also offering a free trial of YouMail’s human-edited transcriptions.
- Bug fixes that allow for better interactivity with other apps, like DexRex, and improve the overall stability of the application, as well as improved functionality of services for YouMail premium subscribers and voice mail transcription.

SecondTab is a free BlackBerry application that allows you to open up a second BlackBerry Browser window and switch between them like you would any other running application by holding down your menu button. It isn’t exactly tabbed browsing, but, provides the ability to switch between browser windows which comes in handy quite often. One of the best things about SecondTab is that it is FREE!

We just got word that Rent.com has released a mobile app for the BlackBerry which allows consumers to hunt for the perfect apartment on the go.
The free, user-friendly app lets users search for apartments, call or e-mail property owners and manage their favorite listings, right from their mobile phones. The app automatically syncs with each user’s Rent.com account and apartment-hunters can even attach their own photos and notes to listings to help them remember the details of a property after they visit. Plus, once you find the apartment of your dreams through Rent.com, you can report your lease through the app in order to claim your $100 Visa debit rewards card.

Facebook for BlackBerry 1.9 is in open beta and available to all in Blackberry Beta Zone. Facebook for BlackBerry 1.9 has several enhancements over its 1.8 predecessor including:
- Dedicated Inbox – a dedicated inbox just for your messages.
- Synced messages, so deleted items on your handheld will delete on the web version too.
- Integration with BlackBerry Universal Search.
- More application search options, including pages and individual users.

LinkedIn for BlackBerry has been updated to version 1.5.0.8 new with support for BlackBerry 6. The new version also includes a redesigned user profile layout:
Viewing member profiles is the #1 activity users do today in the application. We’ve re-designed the profile completely to make it easier to see and interact with all the information on it, while also adding two new features. We’ve been asked by many users for the ability to view the connections of the people they are connected to, as well as to see who they have in common with people on the site. Those new features are now available right at the top of the profile.

BlackBerry Messenger has been updated to version 5.0.1.41. As usual, RIM, hasn’t provided a change log, so, we aren’t sure about what is different.
