AMEN. I’ve been wondering why many applications – free or not – do not have a desktop counterpart, because I too would prefer to sync rather than SureType all of my alphanumeric info.

Yes, that is the only problem with things like this. Entering all that info via the BB keyboard (especially if you have a model which doesn’t have the “full” keyboard–like the Pearl) is a huge pain–which I would never do.

I prefer to enter it all on my desktop then sync it with my BB. That way I have the info both on my computer and BB. (So I use SplashID which works on BB, Palm, PC and Mac).
