FCC Approves BlackBerry Curve 8910… Confirms No 3G

January 19, 2010 by Robb Dunewood 2 Comments

The BlackBerry Curve 8910 has received FCC approval.  It is basically a BlackBerry Curve 8900 with trackball, and it’s been confirmed that, like it predecessor, the BlackBerry Curve 8910 lacks 3G.

Many question why Research in Motion continues to pump out devices that don’t have 3G, but, to make a long story short, carriers like T-Mobile keep ordering them and AT&T keep ordering them.

That’s crazy, I don’t even know why anyone would get a smartphone nowadays without 3g.
