I am looking for an extended battery for my BlackBerry 7130e. My standard battery usually works for me on weekdays even, when I am traveling as I generally have either my laptop or my charger with me in my backpack. The weekends, however, are a different story.
I tend to talk on my BlackBerry a lot on the weekends and I use my Plantronics Bluetooth headset all the time that seems to really put a drain on the battery. Since I don’t tend to carry a bag full of chargers for me, that battery indicator gets pretty low by the end of the day.
I am looking for an extended BlackBerry 7130e battery that will get me at least 4 to 6 hours of talk time with my Bluetooth headset. If anyone has any experience with extend batteries please leave a comment.
Just call your Verizon Rep, or go into your local Verizon Wireless Store. They sell an extended battery which should easily give you over a full day of usage, and it even comes with a new back battery door for around $50.
The extended battery is almost double the size of the standard battery, so it does make the device a bit wider.
I ordered my extended battery online with Verizon, got it in 2 days, comes with the matching battery door. Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap.
Ordered the extended battery for my 7130e from Verizon’s web site, where it was 50% off!! Received it in two days. Verizon is now out of stock of this item. I wonder if a newer, slimmer battery is coming out?????
