Why would someone want a theme to make the BB look like it’s running Google Android or to make the BB look like a iPhone?

I have to agree with the Rock on this one…I mean, it’s kind of cool…but I don’t want my BB to look like another device…that’s kind of admitting that the other device is better.

I used to know a guy who had a Toyota, who kept buying accessories to make it look like a BMW…even a BMW hood ornament. Now that was obviously an admission that he wished he had the real BMW.

It’s the same thing with this …. if I have envy for another device, I may as well switch to that device.

It’s totally possible to prefer the functionality of a BB while desiring the look of an iphone or similar device. Why is that hard to understand?

Hello all, my name is Blackberry Storm. I’m a smart dresser but sometimes I like to dress differently. I like to tell my neighbours that I can look just like them and I can also tell them I work just as better. I won an award you know, I’m an original however sometimes I like to show the rest of the world that I can do something they can’t. I’m not being a bitch about it, I’m quite a professional so I don’t go down to that level but you must admit, I’m a pretty little thing and love the attention I get too. So enjoy all of me, and also my diverse dress sense. So tell me iphone? Can you dress like me? Take care fellas.

A wannabe (pronounced [?w?.n?.bi?]) is a person (or communications device) who imitates or emulates another. The term derives from the words “want to be”.

Was looking for those with Google Android or iPhone’s who are trying to make their devices look like Blackberry’s, NOPE there is no evidence of that going on. Guess those devices have the functionality and the look down, no need to try to look like something they are not.

Actually, there is a theme to make the iPhone 3G look like a Storm:

“for BlackBerry-to-iPhone switchers. I guess some of you dig the idea of having their iPhone look like RIM’s flagship all-touchscreen device.”

Sounds like a way to downgrade your iPhone’s UI.
