Do you use BlackBerry Connect?

January 6, 2006 by Robb Dunewood 3 Comments

How many RIMarkable readers out there use BlackBerry Connect? Unfortunately, there aren’t too many devices in the U.S. that currently support it and I really would like to hear feedback on how the experience of using BlackBerry Connect on a third-party smartphone compares to the experience of using an actual BlackBerry.

    Hi,

I am based in Germany and my mobile vendor is Vodafone.

Blackberry connect on a QTek 9090 was working excellent. Even with more than 10000 Emails in my Inbox ( cached on the mobile ) it was pretty fast and easily to use.

I switched the mobile now to a QTek 9000 with Windows Mobile 5 and I couldn’t find any Blackberry Connect Software for Windows Mobile 5 that I can install.

Maybe you can give advise !
I can tell you then my experience with Blackberry Connect Software for Windows Mobile 5 on my QTek 9000.

    Thanks
    Frank

I’m also looking for Blackberry Connect Software for Windows Mobile 5.0.
I don’t think it is out yet.

I’ve used it in Nokia 6820 devices. I was fairly impressed but if you’re used to the full BB experience you’ll miss not being able to view attachments, etc. It’s all a bit ‘cut down’… Wasn’t too keen on the device it was on really either!
