Do you need to upgrade your BlackBerry OS?

June 21, 2005 by Robb Dunewood 1 Comment

It seems like everyday there are more and more BlackBerry applications that require BlackBerry OS 3.8.  Every time you want to try one of these new apps out it tells you to download the latest OS from your mobile providers website.  For some strange reason the mobile providers do their best to hide BlackBerry OS 4.0 downloads in the least obvious places deep linked within their sites.  Hopefully this list, obtained from BlackBerry Forums will help you out.

If you have BlackBerry OS 3.8, you really don’t need to upgrade.

I am searching for version 4.0 to work on O2 (UK) Network. I see the other networks listed, but not O2.
