Deal: Replace the Battery in Your BlackBerry for $3.33

November 23, 2010 by Rod 4 Comments

This morning I ordered a new battery for my BlackBerry Bold 9650 because I was finding it a challenge to get through half a day without charging. I am one for finding deals and normally I shell out $40 and just buy a battery from Seidio. I shipped Robb the battery form my old Storm when he was having battery problems as it made no sense to purchase a battery for $40 when you can get a new phone at Amazon for 1¢.

If you need a new battery I would check and see if this model fits your phone as $3.33 with free shipping is the right price for me. I tend to get frustrated with my phone before it dawns on me I need to purchase a new battery.

Buy a Replacement Battery for your BlackBerry Curve 8900, Tour 9630 Storm 9500, Storm 2 9550, Bold 9650 and more only 3.33 with free shipping.

Can you confirm when you receive the battery where it was made? It also should have no marks on the metal battery connectors. I’ve found that the only true OEM batteries appear to be from Japan. I’ve not done research to determine if others can come from China, but based on experience, when I buy the “cheaper” OEM batteries, they end up likely being fakes or used and if they say China on them, the only last a couple of months at best. The ones I can certify are truly OEM always say made in Japan and end up lasting much longer.

    Thank you

I did normal delivery so it is estimated to arrive between Nov 30 – Dec 3. I will report back on if the battery works and location where is it made

I got my battery yesterday and so far it is working well. I did notice the white sticker on the battery had a red line which makes me believe water damage but the battery is fully functional
