Cingular and Research in Motion today announced the availability of the BlackBerry 7130c. We knew that the BlackBerry 7130c was coming but we thought that it would be a bit closer to the Cingular launch parties that start next week.

Cingular has also announced their new BlackBerry Personal Plan that offers unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service access for $29.99 per month. The BlackBerry Personal Plan doesn’t , however, allow access to BlackBerry Enterprise Service. Subscribers will only be able to get their Internet email with the new plan.

One problem with Cingular is that they are so late to the game in rolling out their 3G services. Verizon has had theirs up now for about 2 years, and Sprint for about 1 year…but Cingular is still pushing phones with the noticeably slower EDGE data service.

If Cingular doesn’t do some sort of major nationwide 3G rollout this year, they will be at a huge disadvantage.
