Update: More BBM Commercials…

If you ask three BlackBerry users what they love most about the BlackBerry you are almost guaranteed that at least one of them will tell you BlackBerry Messenger.  BBM is generally accepted as one of, if not, the best mobile IM clients of all time.  Research in Motion knows this and it would appear that they are trying to get the word out.

    I like the commercial. Simple to the point, just the way bbm is.

    A lot of people discount this thing called BBM, but I honestly think it’s Blackberry’s 2nd killer app after e-mail. You can’t get this on any other device. Yes, you can do various IM clients that work across all phones and pc, but they still don’t compare as long as there is a login. It’s usage has gotten to the point it is hard to completely switch to anything else. The only option is to accept not all your friends will come along for the ride (and use other IM programs) if you switch to another device.

      I think this statement says a lot. BlackBerry users that use BBM communicate with other BBM users in a way that they cannot do so on any other device. I’ve said many times that the BlackBerry is the most effective means of communication available in a smartphone whether it be voice, email, SMS, and, of course, BBM.
