A week?? Forget about a week or even a day at that. I get withdrawl symptoms within minutes sometimes, hour max at other times. I'm in BlackBerry Prayer mode at almost all times; whether I'm walking down the street, in bed, in a line, at the bar, in a club, in the barber seat. I have an inherint need to stay connected. I get twitchy when I feel like I'm being deprived.

Last summer I went without my Blackberry for 8 straight days. I have a Verizon phone and went to Europe so it stayed home. I almost went without Internet during this time--my only infraction was that my airline required me to check in the night before I flew home via the Internet so I had no choice. This comes from someone who has 5 desktop computers at home (one with multiple monitors), 2 notebooks, and 2 blackberries (his/hers) and is connected 18 hours a day. I loved being disconnected from everything and really relaxed for the first time in years.

I am not sure that i would feel the same, soley for the fact that I am not a business user. I would classify myself more as a high end multi-media user, who enjoys surfing the net and sending out at least 200 texts a month. Emails for me is more invites and keep in touch mail from friends and the like. However, I do think that I could go more than 40 hours without my phone...maybe five days maximum. After the five days, i am pretty sure I would end up like that guy did, crying and having mega withdrawls. I don't event want to think about it, are we done?
