Could not get the .alx to install on an 8330 (VZW) with up-to-date desktop and handheld software. Used javaloader to install the COD and the program immediately requested access to the phone subsystem (don't remember exact verbiage of the request). I did not grant this because I didn't understand why it was needed based on the vendors description of the program, so had to uninstall with javaloader because the program did not appear on the application list, even after a battery pull.
