I am having the same exact problem with the 8310 and my 2007 530i. It worked initially and now nothing….. Have you heard of any options

I have had the same problem with 8310 and 2007 bmw 530…worked initially, now though it says it is paired, the phone wont work thru the car..Any suggestions?

I have a Blackberry 8300 Curve and used it in my 2006 BMW 325ci with no problems until suddenly the device in the car quit working completely. The dealer says 8300 is not an approved phone and using it may have damaged the system (?) and they won’t help (hey, great service form “the ultimate driving machine” folks). I intent to troubleshoot it; it looks like the bluetooth went out in the car.

Hi,
I have the Pearl 8100 (got it this week) and am trying to use it with my BMW 330d (2005, Swiss Model) – guess what… bluetooth discovery & pairing occurs but:-
- no addressbook transfer
- connection drops after 30 sec
Solution? going to buy a 2nd SIM (same number) and use my battered old Nokia – that works 100%

Spent Â£36,000 on a 06 BMW 5 Series with Media Kit including bluetooth prep. My personal “very old” Nokia 6210 works a dream and can be fully accessed via the I-drive dash. However my brand new company Blackberry 7130g doesn’t play wont share it’s ball with the BMW. Still have to keep watching out for the coppers then

I have an 8700r and a 2006 BMW. It loaded the address book quite easily, however, it only transferred about a half of the numbers. I’ve tried a couple of more times but it still won’t transfer all the numbers.
