In addition…I also saw a couple of guys walking off an elevator in my building with Bolds. I don’t want to name the company, but it looks like they may be already in distribution to ‘certain’ companies. One guy couldn’t take his eyes off it, thus why I noticed. All I’ll say is that it’s a very large company that does most of its business with the government.

Just waiting for the day VZW gets the Bold. For now I’ll hang on to my Pearl.

However, one has to question RIM’s decision to go with that flexible, “pushable” screen. They had better get it right, or else it will be a fiasco. I will reserve judgement until I see the device, but for now I can see the potential for wear and tear, as well as just not being as pleasant a user experience.

One of the great things about the iPhone, that no one else has mastered, is that it the touch screen is so smooth and responsive. It works as one would imagine in a scifi show; I credit this to Apple’s vast amount of software expertise.

I thought it was nice. Might be kind of bulky but it’s certainly attractive. I like the way RIM is milking the accelerometer to make more use of a landscape orientation, something Apple fails to do. For many the iPhone feels great when you hold it horizontally and browse and type with both hands in Safari so why not expand it to other areas outside the browser? Seems RIM has tapped into this idea. Users will appreciate the option and reviewers will note it a big plus over the Storm/Thunder’s main rival.
