I am fed up with this crap.

I have a phone that is incomplete. What would happen if I was in am emergency and had to make that quick 911 to save my own life... ohh I know.. stop time.. and wait for the reboot. I dont know about everyone else.. My main issues are that I have to wait to access my stored contacts, wait for application to come online, wait for appications to shut off. Wait for the camera.. for everything from shutting down to starting up to taking a picture. I like to fish trailraces for big catfish and strippers.. what would happen if I was in an emergency and had to contact 911..

We need these problems fixed now. To me it sounds like a multimillon dollar lawsuit waiting to happen.

PLEEEESE don't download 4.7.0.109!!! I tried it and it is so much worse than .75 and is just about completely dysfunctional. I reverted back to .75 and, this time, I will wait till Verizon comes up with it own approved update. By the way, from things I hear from someone who knows people over at RIM, they hate these leaked version and will fire anyone who's connected with them. This also brings to mind all the web blogs and announcements such as those that followed .109, and I think these writers are clowns or just unscrupulous people who gloat over other people's misery. How else could anyone in their right mind recommend or even suggest that people try the .109 leak? All you needed do is download and try it and within 5 minutes realize that someone is just being malicious. As I said above, with the exception of the camera shutter acting a bit faster, the .109 software is chock full of glitches - even worse that the original .74 version. Clearly, I'm not happy with the current .75 version, but it will have to do until an "official" upgrade.

I'm sorry to say that .109 is not a keeper. I downloaded it mayb a day after getting .103 and it didnt even work. It gave me a fatal error and i had to reinstall .75. Then i had to reinstall .103 after uninstalling .109 from mah pc. Then my browser was missing so i had to call verizon to get it bak. 2 hours after the incident, i was bak to normal. The link on this website didnt work for me and im just trying to warn people not to use this website for a link or mayb not even to install .109. Stick with .103 it has helped me in loving my blackberry because i was about to give it back cause .75 sucked. .103 is probably the best leaked os out there at this time.

Have tried to install 103 and 109 get a fatal error with both.. What is going on is that it the upgrade is trying to contect to the boot ROM. Get some screen flashes on the storm, then the fatal error. Using Parallels VM desktop (XP Pro Service pac 3) on a Mac Pro desktop unit. Any ideas how to get past this.?

This isn't old news! For all those that think they've downloaded this already you are confusing the package version, which is 4.7.0.109, with the application version, which is 4.7.0.75.

The application version here is 4.7.0.1o9 and is about 8 versions beyond what you've "had for weeks".
