Verizon has updated VZ Navigator for both the BlackBerry and the Android Platforms and they are offering a free 30-day trial for new users. The new VZ Navigator VX has been enhanced with 3D city driving and real highway signs and views.

Several of Research in Motion’s BlackBerry instant messaging clients, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger, have been updated to v2.5.84 and are available in BlackBerry App World.
Foursquare for BlackBerry v3.0, just an alpha release last week, is now available and ready for download. BlackBerry Messenger integration, however, has been removed from the official release. According to the Foursquare blog finishing touches are still being put on BBM integration, so, Foursquare for BlackBerry v3.0 was released without it so that the Foursquare team could get all the other Foursquare for BlackBerry v3.0 features in your hands as soon as possible.

BlackBerry users have been waiting for Foursquare for BlackBerry to catch up with its Android and iOS counterparts, and, even though it isn’t quite there yet, its a lot closer with the release of Foursquare for BlackBerry v3.0 Alpha which is now available. There are a lot of bug fixes found in Foursquare for BlackBerry v3.0 Alpha, but, the biggest new add has to be BBM integration.

The BBM Social Platform brings the promise of integrating BlackBerry Messenger just about everything, so, its not all that surprising that RIM may be working on a new app which will allow you to share your music and playlists. The new application is appropriately named BBM Music.
