Looks like the folks over at Pinstack were the first to get pictures of the BlackBerry Pearl 2. I hope to goodness that the Verizon model doesn’t come in gold.

Yeah, that gold is pretty fugly. Think I’ll stick to my trusty Pearl 1.
Based on what has happened in the past with Blacberrys (between Sprint and Verizon), it seems likely that Sprint will get a black Blackberry Pearl 2 and Verizon will get a silver Pearl 2.

We taking wagers on whether or not VZW will release it with WiFi? They cripple everything else, why not WiFi too? They will want to force people into their more expensive data plans before they allow Wifi.
Both Sprint and Verizon opted for GPS over Wi-Fi in the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl 2. The GSM version will have Wi-Fi.
