For those of you that weren’t affected or haven’t heard the news, there was a BlackBerry outage in the United States yesterday. The service interuption was first suspected to just affect T-Mobile users in Ohio, however, reports from all over the country started coming in as the day wore on.
“Customers may notice delays in receiving messages. It is also possible that messages sent from the BlackBerry may be returned. Returned messages should be resent once the SRP connection has been restored. We are aggressively working to restore service to normal operating levels.
Officials at Research in Motion may not know what caused the outage until Friday but have confirmed that the problem is on the BlackBerry side of things.
