According to a rumor coming out of BGR, BlackBerry OS 4.7.1.42 for the Verizon BlackBerry Tour is coming soon. The hope is that this update will fix lag issues and problems some Tour users have experienced with the trackball.

First the hope should be that verizon releases this update and other timely updates. Which again is yet another reason why RIM should be getting device updates out directly to BB users, there is no reason for a third party, aka one of the four orifices to become the middle man.
third party, middle man, or when it comes to the four orifices, traffic cop. Exactly what is NOT needed when it comes to smartphone technology. Not good for consumers, not good for device manufactures.
