Funny, I love the VZW system and use it constantly. Haven’t had one bad direction yet, and it runs ahead of the turn very well. It’s worth the $10 for the voice instructions. Using Google is nice, but for $10 I can get voice. As for the iPhone, it’s also not aGPS, so my directions weren’t always on target.

I actually don’t recommend the verizon gps system whatsoever. I think it is absolutely atrocious. However, you can still get directions with blackberry maps. it’s just not turn by turn command. and if you were to leave verizon for say att, there are no restrictions on third party gps apps at all.

my garmin does a better job in the mid tunnel than verizon gps
