		<description>Ahh I see. Not a bad idea though if you want to create different levels of blackberry ownership. That way, it increases the chance for someone to get a blackberry at a starting level such as the gemini incase they cannot afford, what I would say the more complete package.

Not a bad marketing idea at all. More BB&#039;s available for EVERYONE. 

These are just my assumptions of their plan...I remember hearing about the gemini like a year ago and thought the idea fell off. Wasn&#039;t aware it would be a cheaper version.</description>

This model is in the 8000 series and doesn&#039;t carry 3g, so it wouldn&#039;t be a successor to the Bold.  It&#039;s basically a cheaper alternative to the Bold.</description>
