If RIM doesn't fix this app to work in such a way that it can fix my BlackBerry when it dies (that is, reload the OS with the App Loader), which means distributing BlackBerry OS data in something other than just an EXE (or having an extractor in the Manager to deal with the EXEs), I'm going to be sorely [expletive deleted]. To be honest, I couldn't care less about a desktop manager that just syncs my calendar and contacts, I sync with Google; Apps isn't too big a deal, most are available OTA; I can't rescue my BlackBerry when the OS goes kablooey without rebooting into Windows, because somehow the BlackBerry doesn't like connecting to software inside of VMWare (no clue how things get screwed up here).

One thing, that's all RIM has to do. If they don't do it, I'm probably going to ignore all the rest of their software for the rest of their existence until they do that one thing (much like how I ignore most of Nokia's software for the EXACT SAME REASON).

This one one factor I actually considered when buying an Intel iMac last month but I won't have to buy Parallels and Windows just for that now. Thank God. That would def open my machine up to all the Windows viruses and issues associated with the OS.
