Arguably the most popular mobile game of all time is a time waster called Angry Birds.  Unfortunately, however, Angry Birds is not available on the BlackBerry, and, Rovio Mobile, the company that makes Angry Birds, says that they have no plans to port Angry Birds over to the BlackBerry.

BlackBerry developer Smarter Apps saw the lack of Angry Birds for BlackBerry as an opportunity and has created Angry Farm, an Angry Birds for BlackBerry clone (or complete rip-off of the original depending on your point of view) that actually isn’t a half bad.  Angry Farm has already received an update adding a better game play experience along with 10 new levels.  Just recently Smarter Apps released an Angry Farm Free Trial which allows you to play the first 3 levels of the game so that you can try Angry Farm out before you buy.

We constantly hear about how fast feature phone users are converting over to smartphones all the time.  What you don’t hear as often, however, is that one of the fastest growing segments of net new wireless subscribers are those opting for pre-paid plans, and, one of the hottest devices going right now is the pay as you go BlackBerry…

At the end of the day, you will pay significantly less when if you get a pay as you go BlackBerry on either Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile.  If you can stand paying a little more for a BlackBerry up front, you can save hundreds of dollars over the course of a two year plan and you aren’t locked into any type of contract.
