Arguably the most popular mobile game of all time is a time waster called Angry Birds. Unfortunately, however, Angry Birds is not available on the BlackBerry, and, Rovio Mobile, the company that makes Angry Birds, says that they have no plans to port Angry Birds over to the BlackBerry.
BlackBerry developer Smarter Apps saw the lack of Angry Birds for BlackBerry as an opportunity and has created Angry Farm, an Angry Birds for BlackBerry clone (or complete rip-off of the original depending on your point of view) that actually isn’t a half bad. Angry Farm has already received an update adding a better game play experience along with 10 new levels. Just recently Smarter Apps released an Angry Farm Free Trial which allows you to play the first 3 levels of the game so that you can try Angry Farm out before you buy.
You can pick Angry Farm Free Trial up on BlackBerry App World or download the full version for $4.99.
The title of this post pretty much sums things up. Head into a T-Mobile store this coming weekend, Friday and Saturday Feb. 11th and 12 and pick up any smartphone, including the BlackBerry Curve 8520, Curve 3G, Bold 9700, or Bold 9780, for free.

We constantly hear about how fast feature phone users are converting over to smartphones all the time. What you don’t hear as often, however, is that one of the fastest growing segments of net new wireless subscribers are those opting for pre-paid plans, and, one of the hottest devices going right now is the pay as you go BlackBerry…
We get questions all the time about pay as you go BlackBerry devices, particularly the Boost Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8530. The 8530, isn’t the newest BlackBerry Curve on the block, but, it is a solid device that many prefer over of the newer BlackBerry Curve 3G. Boost Mobile’s price of $199.99 seems to be a little steep, but, what you have to realize is that you are paying for the device unsubsidized as there is no monthly contract that you need to sign up for.
Where the pay as you go BlackBerry shines on Boost Mobile is in the way of the $60 per month unlimited BlackBerry Plan that gives you unlimited nationwide talk, text, web, 411, IM & email. For customers that stick with Boost Mobile, your plan could go down to as little as $45 per month.
Virgin Mobile offers the same BlackBerry Curve 8530 for $139.99, however, their monthly plan will run you $70 per month for unlimited everything.
At the end of the day, you will pay significantly less when if you get a pay as you go BlackBerry on either Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile. If you can stand paying a little more for a BlackBerry up front, you can save hundreds of dollars over the course of a two year plan and you aren’t locked into any type of contract.
Is a pay as you go BlackBerry right for you?
We just heard that, starting tomorrow, Best Buy will offer the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for free throughout the remainder of December. This isn’t the first free BlackBerry Torch that we’ve heard of, but, it is the first free BlackBerry Torch offered in a big retail store like Best Buy. Needless to say, this is one heck of a deal for those in the market for a BlackBerry Torch…
If you want to get a BlackBerry Torch on the cheap, but, would like to stay out of the lines at Best Buy, check out the BlackBerry Torch for just one penny on Amazon.com…

If you live in Canada and really want to get a BlackBerry Pearl 3G, now is the time to do so. Telus, through Dec. 3rd, is offering the Pearl 3G for $0 on a 1-year voice and data plan of $50 per month or more.
I’ve seen completely subsidized BlackBerry devices before, but, I can’t say that I seen one on a contract as short as this. Needless to say this is a pretty good deal, so, be sure to check this out of you like SureType BlackBerry devices and live in Canada…
Best Buy is holding one heck of a BlackBerry Sale this weekend where you can get a BlackBerry Curve 3G from Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile for just 1 buck on a 2-year service plan. The name of the sale, appropriately is BlackBerry for Buck… The sale last tomorrow and Saturday only and there are no rain checks, so, if you are really interested, you may want to get to Best Buy early…

Boost Mobile today announced the availability of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 running on top of Sprint’s nationwide 3G network. The device will set you back $249.99 up front, but, you can get unlimited text, voice, and data for just $60 per month on Boost Mobiles pre-paid Unlimited BlackBerry Plan which is cheaper than anything you can get on a contract. You’ve got to admit that this not that bad of a deal so long as you just don’t have to have the newest of the new BlackBerry devices.
