Based on the number of emails we have received asking for advice on how to “fix the time” on BlackBerry users devices, it would appear that many folks haven’t applied the DST 2007 Patch for BlackBerry Devices.
If you BlackBerry adjusted for DST yesterday, the old “Fall Back” date here is what you need to do:
- Point your devices BlackBerry Browser to mobile.blackberry.com
- Click on Important info: DST 2007
- Click Download
- Follow the instructions…
Applying the DST 2007 Patch for BlackBerry is pretty straight forward, however, it does take it 15 minutes or so to complete.

When’s Daylight Savings? I thought it was this coming Saturday, why are people suddenly saying it was this weekend? Am I wrong?
Jacky, the thing is peoples BBs’ moved back an hour this past weekend
and it shouldnt have. Thats why Robbie is posting info on what people
should do to fix it. Mine did it too, but 15 minutes is much too long for me at this point, I’d rather just manually set the time back and uncheck DST.
Will this work for spring forward in 2008?
