My guess, and that's all it is, is that VZW will a version of the Curve out for the Christmas/Holiday season...so it won't be the full year wait that it had been in the past, until the 8800 series, but it will still be about a 4 to 6 month time lag. It's a pity: a VZW Curve with true 3G would have been the best competitor to the iPhone that VZW could have offered up.
