BlackBerry Bold Hits T-Mobile Germany July 21st

by Robb Dunewood on July 4, 2008 · 5 comments

According to the T-Mobile Germany website, the BlackBerry Bold will launch on their network in July. BlackBerry News, however, has zeroed in on the 21st as the launch date.

The T-Mobile Germany BlackBerry Bold with the right contract will cost under $150 U.S. The non contracted price will be 550 Euros. That’s like $860 U.S.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a $99 price tag on the BlackBerry Bold here in the United States. That is with a plan of course. I don’t know what the Bold would run without a plan, however, if it is anything like $860, you would be better off buying it with a plan and then paying the EFT to cancel it.

$99 with a contract? What are you smoking? I bet this phone will cost no less then $200 with a contract, probably more. This phone is way over priced for what it is, a BB with 3G. $800, non contract price? I could buy a computer for less then that.

Robb, how close does a product need to look like another before it’s some kind of copyright infringement? Check out this new Moto Q9 and try to tell me they didn’t crib the BB Bold:
