We are only 1hr away from the RIM and AT&T event and everyone is expecting to see the BlackBerry Slider 9800 to be announced.  You have to suspect RIM may announce something around the BlackPad (AKA BlackBerry Tablet).  It would be amazing if AT&T managed to lock in the iPad, Kindle (new model $189 AT&T 3G ) and RIM’s tablet for the data plans.  The FCC documents reference model RCY71UW, but from the images this looks like the slider we all know and love (real name is the BB Torch).  HOW DID VERIZON not get this device?

Hardware specs are rather standard luetooth, 802.11b/g/n, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900, UMTS II (1900), V (850) are all go with the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800 MHz bands and UMTS I (2100) bands.  We will all know in the next hour or so.
