It looks like Boy Genius is back at as he has posted pics of what we believe to be the BlackBerry 8800 “Indigo” over on EngadgetMobile…
As you can see from the picture of the back, there is no digital camera, however, we can only hope that RIM has QWERTY CameraBerry with this form factor in the works. One thing we know for sure is that RIM is definitely focusing on making their next-gen BlackBerrys look good.
More BlackBerry 8800 pictures on the back…
RIM is really making huge progress in design. And we all know that design is a crucial factor in the consumer market.
Congrats to RIM for really understanding that.
Wow – RIM and design…
Where is the trackwheel..going to a ball..is a major departture in terms of UI/MMI..anyone know what the thinking is here?
Richard,
RIM is moving away from the trackwheel and to the trackball on next geneartion devices to allow BlackBerrys to be made thinner. The trackwheel is the limting factor in just how thin a BlackBerry can be.
If you check out a BlackBerry Pearl, you will see that the are literally as thin as a Razr…
Will the indigo(blackberry 8800) be coming out for verizon?
