BlackBerry 8703e Pic?

August 2, 2006 by Robb Dunewood 11 Comments

So, is this what the rumored Verizon BlackBerry 8703e will look like? I know that it is a photoshopped image and the Verizon logo looks like it was copy and pasted to the bottom of this BlackBerry at the last minute, however, it can’t be too far off.

It can’t be too far off unless Verizon, like T-Mobile and Cingular with their BlackBerry 7130 models, go with a completely different case from the existing BlackBerry 87xx series devices that are already available.

Lets just hope that the rumors about the BlackBerry 8703e coming out at the end of next month are true.

The key will be finally having a full QWERTY keyboard BB out on Verizon’s network that can utilize the high speed EVDO service.

Regardless of the casing, that will be very sweet indeed.

    @ Robb Dunewood

Are you kidding me posting this picture? Do you even look at it before posting something like this?

Maybe its just me maybe RIM is going to redo the QWERTY keyboard as we know it ! Do you notice the M & N keys? I dont think its very wise to take pics that you see on the rumor fourm and post them here. Just my 2 cents.

    Seriously braz,

Don’t take things said on this blog too seriously. Even though I said

“it is a photoshopped image and the Verizon logo looks like it was copy and pasted to the bottom of this BlackBerry at the last minute”

and said that it will look similar to this, unless, of course it looks different,

I was not saying that that this really what the 8703 will look like. I was more or less making that point that it is coming and I hope it’s coming next month.

Naw I didn’t take it seriously @ all. Not since the pic screams so many obvious edits.

I always found valuable info here and enjoy the site. I was just taken back by seeing that pic on the front page here.

I have seen a picture of the actual device at a presentation Verizon Wireless gave to me, it looks identical to that picture.

That would mean that it uses that same case as the other 8700 models.
