BB10 Smartphones & Playbook Approved for Use On U.S. Department of Defense Networks

August 8, 2013 by BlackBerry Hank Leave a Comment

Some good news for BlackBerry today out of Waterloo, ON.  The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) today announced that they have approved BlackBerry® 10 smartphones and BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablets with BlackBerry® Enterprise Service 10 to be used on DoD networks.

The once dominate smart phone giant has recently seen its US Market share dwindle over the past 2-3 yrs. The one consistent positive about BlackBerry is that when it comes to security, it’s still the Top Dog in the game. BlackBerry 10 is a great software and combined with the nice hardware devices it’s time to move on from those BlackBerry legacy devices once and for all.
